Honours Day
Wesley Methodist School celebrated Honours Day 2026, a distinguished annual event recognising the academic excellence, talents, leadership, and exemplary character of our students. The ceremony began with a formal procession, Sajak Cemerlang, an opening prayer, and the singing of the National Anthem and School Song, followed by a welcome address from our Principal, who reaffirmed the school's commitment to nurturing excellence and holistic development.
The ceremony honoured the 2025 Wesley High Achievers, Meritorious Award recipients, School Colours recipients, and Pioneer Achievers Award recipients. A special highlight was the return of the Class of 2025, who proudly received their Subject Excellence certificates and plaques in recognition of their outstanding SPM achievements.
We were honoured to welcome Mr. Tan Ay Zing, Chairman of the WMS Board of Management, as our Guest of Honour. In his inspiring address, he encouraged students to pursue excellence with integrity, resilience, and compassion.
The celebration was further enriched by vibrant performances from our student dancers and school band, showcasing the creativity and talents of our Wesleyans. The ceremony culminated with the presentation of the Wesley Scholars of the Year 2025 and the prestigious Wesleyan of the Year 2025 awards, recognising students who exemplify academic excellence, leadership, service, and character.
The event concluded with the much-anticipated Cap Toss, symbolising achievement, gratitude, and new beginnings. As the Wesley community came together in celebration, Honours Day once again reflected our enduring commitment to “Excellence Through Education.”
Congratulations to all award recipients on your well-deserved achievements. May your success continue to inspire others and serve as a foundation for an even brighter future.
